© aedearly is a resource page & shop, focused on bringing paid and free-to-use graphics of various sorts, from colouring psds to more specific templates for the roleplaying community on tumblr. aedearly was established on march 2023 and is currently administered by balu (he/she, 1999). ae-cai is the winged bunny mascot of @aedearly, and was designed specifically for commercial purposes.

i) general terms

✦ㅤI only take payments via Ko-Fi or Stripe. Please ensure you have an account on those platforms before commissioning me. Due to my country's legislation and international exchange fees, I can only take payment through credit card, Apple Pay, and/or Google Pay payments. I do not, and I will not create a PayPal account. Once you've sent me a Google Forms response, I'll automatically assume you agree to this beforehand. You can only commission me through Google Forms.
✦ㅤAll my prices are base prices, which means they can increase depending on the complexity of your order and/or the number of changes required during editing. You'll be informed of price ranges and possible changes.
✦ㅤI reserve the right to refuse any commission for whatever reason (such as, but not limited to, out of my expertise, I do not have more slots available, etc).
✦ㅤI use a wide range of resources to make my graphics, from public domain elements to paid assets and hand-drawn add-ons. For this reason, I ask you to credit me on your blog, social media, or wherever else you may use my creations (pinned posts, Google Docs, social media descriptions, carrd links, etc.) when you use my work (colouring PSDs, icon borders, banners, etc.).
✦ㅤIf something you requested needs to be drawn by me, I'll let you know beforehand so we can adjust the pricing or work around it.
✦ㅤFor my clients to edit things more easily, I'll always send him/her/them PhotoShop Documents (PSDs) containing all elements used. They will be properly named, specifying all fonts and textures used.
For this reason, each and every client will have a specific Google Drive folder for him/her/them to more easily navigate and/or download from if he/she/they require. This folder will be up for 3 (three) months so that clients may download everything he/she/they'd like from there. After 3 (three) months, your folder will be permanently deleted. If you'd like to retrieve your folder, please contact me so I may send you the files through a .rar file or e-mail.
✦ㅤYou may edit everything to your heart's content as long as you still give me credits and do not claim your graphics as solely yours. You're also prohibited from redistributing my assets, graphics and other general elements to third parties. Those are for your personal use only.
✦ㅤI do not and will never edit or use AI (Artificial Intelligence) art in any shape or form.
✦ㅤDo not rush or bombard me with messages pertaining to your order. Messaging every few days is fine, but please do not spam me in hourly intervals. I'm a researcher, tutor, translator and caretaker; my schedule will fluctuate a lot. Constant messaging will be considered harassment, and you will be blacklisted from future commissions for violating my Terms of Service.
✦ㅤAs specified above, I have a very busy life. For this reason, I'll establish a deadline after reviewing and accepting your order and disclose it to you in private. This excludes the timeframe/the delay of periculum in mora required for my clients to get back to me with feedback and/or change requests. If I fail to meet such a deadline, you will not be required to pay me. My clients' satisfaction and my work ethic come first and foremost.

ii) process and payment,

✦ㅤIf I accept your order, I will contact you through your filled-in preferred platform (Tumblr, Discord, e-mail, etc) to confirm your order, disclose final prices, and/or get more information if needed. This is also where I'll establish a deadline for your order. I will not ask for payment at this stage; I will only ask for it once your order is concluded. Once you've given me the green light, I'll start working on your order.
✦ㅤClients can ask for one full package (a full package constitutes the combo of all offered services disclosed on my Google Forms: ICON BORDER + MOBILE BANNER + COLOURING PSD + POST DIVIDER[S] + PROMO PICTURE[S]) of whatever complexity, or one partial package of whatever complexity. If my client would like more than one full package, then he/she/they'll have to place another order; i.e., he/she/they'll be required to fill my Forms again and, therefore, take another slot.
✦ㅤDepending on the complexity of your order and my schedule availability, it can take 4 (four) weeks to 4 (four) months for your commission to be finished. This excludes the timeframe/the delay of periculum in mora required for my clients to get back to me with feedback and/or change requests. If I fail to meet such a deadline, you will not be required to pay me. My clients' satisfaction and my work ethic come first and foremost.
✦ㅤPlease pay attention to my creative process:
✦ㅤStep #1. Sketching. After confirming your order, I will start working on general composition and element placement. I will then send in sketch ideas for your order (as in, real sketches, done on ClipStudio Paint or PhotoShop, very much like doodles). This is a very important step, since it will determine the general flow of your graphics. Here, you can also ask for as many changes as you want; make sure to remember it's a layout sketch, and it will not be detailed or polished.
✦ㅤStep #2. Rough graphics. After that, I'll apply your feedback on your graphics and polish them. You'll then receive a fully detailed rendition of your graphics, including all elements and fully polished. The screenshot of your graphics will also contain a watermark on top. Here, you can ask for 3 (three) minor changes and 1 (one) major change for each graphic. Minor changes include font changes, resizing, colour adjustments, etc. Major changes include layout restructuring, major element placement changes, etc. Additional fees will be applied to your total order if you require more changes than those listed.
✦ㅤStep #3. Final product[s]. A Google Drive folder for your order will then be created with your final product[s] (with all the changes implemented as needed). I will then take screenshots of your folder and of your final product and disclose your final amount owed. A Ko-Fi link where you can deposit your payment will also be sent to you. I will only send you the link to your Google Drive folder once I get a payment confirmation e-mail through Ko-fi or Stripe.
✦ㅤSometimes, my Sketching and Rough graphics phases blend together, and the WIP I show you may look more polished than a simple sketch. In such instances, please treat the first sketch I showed you as a sketch. You can request as many changes you want on your first WIP. Only on the second WIP I show you will I start counting it as a rough graphic and changes will be more limited.
✦ㅤIn summary, my creative process is: order confirmation → sketching → rough graphics → final product showcase → payment → delivery of final product[s] through Google Drive folder shared link.
✦ㅤIf you wish to cancel your order, you can do so during my Sketching phase (Step #1). I.e.: on the first WIP I show you. After that, I will still require payment, even if it is partial.
✦ㅤIf you're still unsatisfied with your final product[s], I will offer you some options in private as to how we may proceed with your order. However, please note that you will still be required to pay me, even if partially.
✦ㅤPlease note that I will only ask you to pay me when I'm done with your final product[s]. I'll explain how you may do so in private.
✦ㅤI do not take split payments/down payments/deposits, only full charges once I've completed your order. This is non-negotiable.
✦ㅤIf my client cannot pay me through my established platforms (Ko-Fi and/or Stripe), then I will negotiate alternatives privately. Failure to pay me even with those alternatives will result in your commission being resold at my Ko-Fi shop and/or redistributed through whatever means I deem fit. Your name and information will also be blacklisted from future commissions for violating my Terms of Service.
✦ㅤAfter I've sent you the screenshots of your final product[s] as per Step #3, you will be given leniency of 2 (two) months to pay me. Failure to pay me within that timeframe will result in your commission being resold at my Ko-Fi shop and/or redistributed through whatever means I deem fit. Your name and information will also be blacklisted from future commissions for violating my Terms of Service.
